pact was established in 2001, as a result of the merger of the Bourne Trust and the Prisoners' Wives and Families Society (PWFS). Between them, the two organisations had 125 years' experience of working with prisoners and their families.

Prisoners' Sunday and Prisons Week
Every November, churches up and down the country mark Prisoners' Sunday and Prisons Week. This year, Prisoners' Sunday falls on 20th November 2011. Prisons Week will run from 20th - 26th November.

Our roots in faith
pact works with people regardless of their beliefs. But like the Catholic founders of the Bourne Trust, we believe that prisoners and their families should be treated with humanity, decency, respect and compassion. We are proud, too, of our links to the Catholic parish churches which support us year in, year out.
