Pact runs the national Prisoners’ Families Helpline and website on behalf of HMPPS. This free, confidential service offers practical and emotional support to anyone affected by imprisonment.

Having a loved one caught up in the criminal justice system can be a confusing and stressful experience. We know that having someone to talk to who is non-judgemental and understands your concerns can be a huge help. Our team of staff and volunteers are on hand to take your calls, answer your emails, and support you to navigate this challenging time.

The Helpline is open 9am – 8pm Monday to Friday and 10am – 3pm Saturday, Sunday and bank holidays (excluding Christmas Day & Boxing Day).
