PACT TO RUN SERVICES FOR FAMILIES AT NOTTINGHAM PRISON
Sunrise over Nottinghampact has been awarded a contract to run family support services at a new, purpose-built centre at Nottingham Prison.
The community and visitors' centre will be staffed by pact workers, providing advice, support, information and guidance to hundreds of prison visitors every week.
We'll also be bringing our 'pact lunch' coffee bar social enterprise to the visitors' centre and the visits hall inside the prison, offering healthy drinks and snacks for sale.
HMP Nottingham is a very local prison, with most of its inmates drawn from the immediate surrounding area. That's why pact and the prison are particularly keen to build links with the local community, where these prisoners' families and children live. The centre will act as a focal point for greater co-operation and partnership work.
