• Visitors' centres are based outside the prison gates. They offer child-friendly facilities, information, advice and support for families and friends visiting prisoners
• pact provides supervised children's play services inside many prison visits halls, offering children toys, games and creative activities
• Our 'My Visit' booklet for children helps demystify the experience of visiting mum or dad in prison
• pact's innovative First Night in Custody service seeks to reduce the anxiety felt by prisoners on their first night inside, and to lessen the possibility of self-harm and suicide
• pact lunch catering services operate at a number of prisons
• String of Pearls creative arts workshops teach professionals about the needs of prisoners' families in the community
• pact carries out resettlement work, helping newly released prisoners to integrate back into society
• our Kinship Care Support Service provides support at Holloway and Wormwood Scrubs Prisons for relatives who are left caring for a prisoner's children
