Conditioning Manipulation and Corruption Training will be taking place at Central Office in the Barbara Olisa room in London on Thursday 9th August.


We are developing new courses to support our staff and volunteers working in prisons, based on prison service core jailcraft training, but adapted for Pact and our services. We’re looking for people to attend our first course on Conditioning, Manipulation and Corruption awareness, and help us ensure this important course meets the needs of Pact staff and volunteers.


Course Aim:

  • To give staff an understanding of how to maintain professional boundaries within the custodial environment.
  • To support and protect staff by raising awareness of conditioning and manipulation and its consequences. 

Learning Outcomes:

  • Define corruption           
  • Identify why staff are corrupted
  • Identify how staff are corrupted
  • Learn about the strategies to prevent conditioning and manipulation
  • State the potential consequences of becoming corrupt
  • Explain how to report corruption to the prison and to your manager



The training will be 10.30am to 3pm.
