Prisoners' families Family support Prisoners' Families & Friends Peer Support Group We know that being a ‘prisoners’ family member’ can feel really tough. It can feel like you are serving a kind of hidden sentence yourself, and it can be a lonely and difficult time for you and your family. If this sounds familiar, why not come along to our Peer Support Group. It’s a chance to meet people in similar situations, supported by Pact, a leading independent national charity working with and for prisoners and their families. We provide a supportive, non-judgmental environment where everyone can feel included, safe and respected. A place where you can be yourself, hear from other people who are experiencing similar situations to you, find out what support is available and get practical information that can help you to better cope with the imprisonment of your loved one. We offer activities and workshops based on what you tell us would be helpful. Tea, coffee, juices and light snacks are available. The group is free to prisoners’ family members. Donations always welcome. Please contact our Helpline Manager, Dali Kaur, for more information on [email protected] or ring 02030316954.
