Sophie joined Pact as Head of Service Delivery and Development for London in January 2017. Her services also include the national helpline and befriending service as well as the ‘hear our voice’ children’s advocacy project.

Sophie joined Pact from the Prince’s Trust, where she held a number of roles, her last position, was heading up two programmes and 5 centres across the South of England for unemployed young people using sport, art, adventurous activity as a vehicle for personal and social development and to support them into employment, specifically targeting young people who are in and leaving care and who have committed offenses. She started at the Prince’s Trust as a youth worker running employability programmes in the community. She has also worked on a youth participation pilot; creating a process for child-led data collection in the Middle East, helping to find out more about the day to day realities of children’s lives in areas of conflict. She holds a coaching qualification and a degree in social anthropology and geography.
