In preparation for his speech at this year's Longford Lecture, Michael Palin visited the Pact Central Office to meet with people who have been directly affected by the imprisonment of a family member. During his visit, he heard their experiences of the criminal justice system and the impact that this had on their lives.

We were delighted to welcome Michael, who has been a longtime campaigner for prison reform and has been associated with The Prison Reform Trust for many years.

We would like to say a big thank you for Michael for taking the time to visit us and for his insightful speech at the Longford Lecture last night. We would also like to thank him for pledging his support to Our Voice: The Charter for Children Affected by Family Imprisonment
