Every year more than 300,000 children are separated from their mums or dads through imprisonment. Christmas can be a painful time for families in this situation. But you can help make the festive season a little brighter through Operation Elf.

Operation Elf supports parents in prison to give their child a Christmas gift, maintain their identity as a mum or dad, and strengthen family bonds.

How do I get involved?

Step 1: Donate to the Operation Elf 2023 Appeal

Donate directly to the Operation Elf Appeal, and our elves will purchase gift cards on your behalf. You can do this using the DONATE button above.

You can also share your support on social media using the hashtag #OperationElf.

Step 2: Join in the fun with your workplace

If you are a corporate organisation and interested in getting involved, please contact Partnerships and Engagement Manager, Haddy.

Step 3: Involve your parish

Pact’s Faith in Action team supports parishes to work in partnership with Pact at a nearby prison. .Parishioners can meet Pact staff and volunteers, provide gifts directly, and help at Christmas Family Days .to see the difference they are making for parents in prison and their children.
