Latest News Pact sees significant growth in 2014/15 Over the past year, we have seen significant growth in the number of people we have been able to support, in our team and services and in the number of hours our volunteers have given us. Last year, we supported 164,718 family members to visit loved ones in prison, we worked in more than 35 prisons across England and Wales and our volunteers gave us over 36,000 hours of their time. In 2014/15 we launched a number of innovative projects and services, including the Family Literacy in Prisons Project, the Choose to Change course for domestic abuse perpetrators, the Visiting Mum project which helps children in Wales to visit their mums at HMP Eastwood Park, and many, many more. We have seen tremendous growth in the uptake of our relationship and parenting programmes – with 2,092 prisoners, family members and children commencing these courses in 2014/15, compared to 691 in the previous year. We’d like to thank all of our staff for their hard work, all of the volunteers who have given so much of their time, and all of the funders and donors who make our work possible.
