  1. Our services

CFO3 Programme

Thanks to funding from the European Social Fund and Her Majesty's Prison and Probation Service (HMPPS), Pact, in partnership with Ixion, delivers support to the hardest to reach prisoners and people with convictions in the South East and West Midlands. Our staff and volunteers provide one-to-one casework, mentoring, facilitated learning and short courses in prison and in the community to people experiencing a range of complex issues including:

  • Lack of work skills and qualifications
  • Drug and/or alcohol issues
  • Behavioural issues
  • Debt problems
  • Accommodation problems
  • Mental health issues
  • Family/relationship issues

In 2016/17, we have supported 678 prisoners in the West Midlands, and 828 in the South East to the CFO3 programme. We have also provided Through the Gate mentoring support to 448 people when they were released from prison.

As a charity, Pact is committed to giving every person in prison the best chance of a fresh start, and to supporting their children and families. We are delighted to be working in partnership with Ixion to expand our reach, and to be working with Prison Service colleagues and other agencies to support prisoners towards crime-free, brighter futures.

Pact CEO Andy Keen-Downs
