Pact Celebrates 40 Years of Volunteers' Week

This year marks 40 years of Volunteers' Week, a celebration of the amazing contributions volunteers make to communities across the UK.

Held annually, Volunteers' Week is a chance to recognise, celebrate and thank the UK's incredible volunteers for all they contribute to our local communities, the voluntary sector, and society as a whole.

At Pact, volunteers play a vital role in helping us to transform the lives of thousands of people in prison, people with convictions, and their children and families. Last year, they gave 70,000 hours to support our services across England and Wales, and we look forward to recognising and celebrating their contribution throughout the month.

Could you volunteer?

Pact has more than 400 volunteers nationally, and 9 out of 10 feel they make a difference to their services. Would you like to be part of this very special team?

Starting your volunteer journey is only a click away. We recruit individuals from many different backgrounds and welcome those with lived experience in the criminal justice system. Find out more at https://www.prisonadvice.org.uk/volunteer or email volunteering@prisonadvice.org.uk
