Become a Parish Representative No-one can face life in isolation…We need a community that supports and helps us. - Fratelli Tutti 8 Purpose of this role To be a Pact point of contact within your parish, publicising events, ensuring posters and Fresh Start publications are visible, liaising with Pact’s Faith in Action team to raise awareness of what life is like for people affected by the criminal justice system. Time commitment & location 30 minutes from time to time in your parish or local area, as agreed. What you will be doing? Receiving periodic emails from Pact Speaking with your parish priest and parish office to encourage promotion and support for Pact’s work Ensuring that posters and other publicity are made visible to parishioners Feeding back to Pact’s Faith in Action team any concerns, queries, or ideas from your parish Who are we looking for? People who are interested in helping to share the work of Pact in their community. What we offer An Introduction to Pact session will be available You will be invited to join the Pact Faith in Action team for a quarterly Zoom coffee, prayer and share gathering We will provide all the information and resources to be shared Expenses We do not anticipate you will incur any expenses. Checks This role is subject to a brief verbal reference from your Parish Priest.
