Family support Coping with a loved one's sentence can be a daily struggle and having someone who can provide a listening ear can be a huge help. Pact Family Mentors provide support when it's needed it the most. They can support families on the phone or face to face to help them better cope with the emotional and practical issues that are faced on a daily basis as a result of the imprisonment of a loved one. They support people to minimise the negative impact that imprisonment can have on family life, particularly on children, and can also help families to maintain regular contact with the prisoner and plan for release. Do you need someone to talk to? We run Peer Support Groups which are typically held once a month. Family members can come along and meet other people in similar situations and share their thoughts, feelings and experiences in a non-judgmental, friendly environment. Contact us If you would like to be put in touch with a Family Mentor or would like to attend our Peer Support Group, please call us on 0808 808 3444 or email us on firstname.lastname@example.org.
