FamilySpace is a safe hub for children and families across London affected by the imprisonment of a close family member. It is a space to share worries, access specialist support and focus on living well.

Based at HMP Wormwood Scrubs Visitors' Centre, our team of trained staff and volunteers are on hand to offer a warm welcome and information on our latest courses, groups and activities.

Who is it for?

FamilySpace is open to ALL families across London affected by the imprisonment of a loved one anywhere in England or Wales. If you are unsure whether you can access the service, please do get in touch and we will be able to point you in the right direction.

What's on?


Coffee Mornings

Drop in 8:00 – 08:30 on Monday, Wednesday and/or Friday for a hot drink and a chat before your visit, course or group.

Family Engagement Worker Surgery

Our Family Engagement Worker (FEW) will be available to discuss any concerns you might have about your loved one and how to address them.

Advice & Support

After-School Activities

Reading and homework help, with hot meals provided at discounted prices.

Counselling for Children & Young People

Action for Children volunteers are available to provide counselling for under-18s.
